One of the oldest types of cookies, which most likely were on the Ukrainian lands back in pre-Christian times. Sweet biscuits which were baked on the occasion of a variety of celebrations. Most of them were distributed among carolers on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, they were presented to godchildren by Godparents or as a gift to their mothers. The honey was been brining to boil, stewing a soda in it, then they were gradually adding flour. They mixed dough until it became smooth and white. They rolled it as thick as a finger and printed figures of people and animals. Then baked in the oven on baking trays.
